About the Job:

As a Public Sector Account Executive, you will own the relationship with the most strategic agencies in your territory. You will play a significant role in building the go-to-market strategy within these accounts. You will work with a broader government team including dedicated marketing, solution engineers, and customer success managers. You should be business oriented, customer focused, and a self-starter who works well with little supervision. At the same time, you need to be comfortable wearing multiple hats. Own the relationship with strategic agency leadership in your territoryEducate, evangelize, and guide prospects through a successful adoption of LaunchDarklyElevate LaunchDarkly's visibility at large agencies and communicate our value proposition with leadershipConsistently hit revenue targetsMethodically develop new opportunitiesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of our product and processesEngage in team development and mentoringQualifications:

Minimum 5 years in a Public Sector Enterprise Sales closing role, 8+ years preferredProven track record of hitting or exceeding quotaExceptional written and spoken communicatorHighly organized & autonomousComfortable and energized operating in a fast-moving organizationEntrepreneurial and self-motivatedEnthusiastic about learning and growing at LaunchDarklyExperience managing a consultative sales cycleRecent experience working for an emerging tech companyIntellectually curious and ambitiousPreferred Qualifications:

Knowledge or experience in the developer tool spaceKnowledge or experience with MEDDPICExperience expanding across teams at large agenciesExperience with a Land & Expand SaaS Sales strategyPay:

Target pay range for a Level P4 in San Francisco/Bay Area: $260,000 - $306,000**On Target Earnings (OTE) includes base pay and commission**Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.LaunchDarkly operates from a place of high trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs.
