Director, Transfer Pricing

We seek a Director, Transfer Pricing to join the BIC tax team. This individual will report to the Group Head of Tax and be a key interface with non-tax business leaders throughout our global organization regarding transfer pricing matters. This role will also have an extensive interface with tax authorities, our external auditors, and outside tax and legal consultants. This role will also be responsible for transfer pricing documentation requirements and strategy to ensure transfer pricing matters are OECD/BEPS compliant.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall BIC’s global transfer pricing policies in alignment with BIC’s business, supply-chain setup, modification and transformation.

Advise and collaborate with business and finance on the transfer pricing implications of new business models, transactions, and restructurings.

Responsible for intercompany agreements.

Responsible for transfer pricing calculations.

Manage analysis to determine appropriate transfer pricing/valuation methodology and build financial models.

Manage valuation of IP.

Prepare documentation and participate in audit defense/disputes.

Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with cross-functional business partners across Finance, Supply Chain, Innovation, Legal, and HR.

Maintain local country transfer pricing documentation.

Defend and support transfer pricing positions in local country tax audits, including providing necessary documentation.

Lead advanced pricing agreements.

Lead competent authority proceedings.

Assist with tax reporting and compliance to ensure proper reporting of cross-border transactions.

Responsible for global transfer pricing planning around restructuring, acquisition, or divestiture.

Oversight of the post-acquisition integration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics or Accounting.

12+ years of transfer pricing experience with a multinational company.

Strong technical understanding of OECD BEPS and IRC Section 482.

Strong performer with the ability to be a hands-on problem solver.

Strong analytical skills.

Proficient in Hyperion and Excel.

Extensive knowledge of global transfer rules, especially in the international area.
