The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead is responsible for building and maintaining the Change Management strategy and best practices across projects and programs under the oversight of the Project Management Organization. This individual’s focus will be establishing behaviors that create sustainable business change, supporting efforts to maintain stakeholder alignment, and educating project and program management resources. These objectives will be completed by assessing change management needs, recommending right-sized solutions and resourcing, and providing thought leadership and consistency for projects.

The OCM Lead partners with Business, Project, and Program Leads to integrate change management considerations early into project definition and planning stages, advises project leadership for consistency in delivery and incorporates best practices into change deployment and sustainability activities.

Responsibilities May Include:

Drafting change communication for all PMO led process changesSupports strategy development and tracking for teamDesigning and maintaining organizational content pages such as SharepointCollaborates with SMEs to develop and deploy communications and training materialsProvide oversight for organization educational activities like the Community of PracticesWork with lead to plan, organize, and facilitate strategy development and goals planning sessionsBuild goals and strategy delivery progression reports for Digital IT LeadershipDevelop and implement approaches to align change activities where necessaryIdentify and assess stakeholder groups impacted by PMO changesIdentify and assess change impacts through the lifecycle of the team initiatives and programAdvise on change and adoption risks across leadership, project teams, and end-user groupsCollect, edit, and submit one-liners on behalf of the Digital Innovation and PMO organizationAligning with stakeholders to create and manage a centralized Digital IT change leadership hub or COEProviding support to the PMO resource team in assessing, interviewing, onboarding, and monitoring OCM performanceProvide coaching to project managers on stakeholder engagement, messaging, and change leadershipComplete Change Impact Assessments, Leadership Alignment Action Plans, and Communication Plan for the PMO as neededConduct surveys, interviews, and interventions to track engagement and message comprehensionIntegrate change methodology into the individual projects via project plans and activities as needed

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree5 or more years of Organizational Change Management experience8 or more years of proven business and/or change leadership experienceExperience in leading, driving outcomes, and leading business centered change in a complex environmentSurveying tools, execution of assessment, and implementation of results experienceExperience managing change in a cross-cultural/global environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levelsProficiency with tools such as SharePoint, PowerBi, Project Online, and all other standard tools in the Microsoft Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven influencer within the business with a track record for driving outcomesProven experience managing the execution of complex large-scale changeExperience in the Oil and Gas industryDemonstrated success in dealing with ambiguous, high change environments as the role will rapidly increase in size and complexity over timeDemonstrated success at collaboration across multiple projects, functions, and businessesProven ability to be an advisor to key stakeholders and leaders in a complex organization
