Vice President, Financial Services and CFO

If so, you might be a perfect fit for our Vice President, Financial Services and CFO position.This position is responsible for the overall financial health of the University. As a member of Cabinet, thisposition also assists with the creation and implementation of strategic vision and goals of the University.
Our Idea of a Perfect Candidate Is Someone Who:
Can provide strategic financial insight, manage financial risks, and ensure the financial health and sustainability of the institution.
Has expertise in all areas of finance including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, audits, preparation of financial statements.
Brings experience in not-for-profit accounting.
Our Ideal Candidate’s Education and Experience Include:
Master’s in business administration, finance or related field; or CPA license with 10+ years of public or industry specific accounting experience.
Experience in higher education.
This Position’s Functions Include:
Accountability for business and financial systems, providing leadership for establishing policies and practices that govern both the current and future financial operations of the University.
Serves as treasurer and meets all budget and auditing requirements specified by the Board.
Staff support for the finance, audit, and investment committees of the board.
Contributes to overall policy development and administrative management of the University.
Oversees management of investments.
Oversees Accounting, Human Resources, Student Accounts, and Student Financial Aid.
Leads financing for major capital projects and operating needs.
