The Consultant possesses demonstrated knowledge, experience, and ability in the development of solutions, recommendations, or outcomes across multiple complex tasks and/or organizations. The Consultants support consists of contributing essential technical and strategic support functions to the customer and Financial Modernization Team.

Work Description:Evaluate options in the context of project objectives and contributes to the implementation of strategic direction.Support project objectives through activities such as gathering and analyzing data and resources and developing recommendations for modernization.Perform a variety of tasks that require both practical and technical knowledge in specialty areas.Provide support to various project teams and leadership as a key facilitator to achieve objectives of complex efforts.Support data and directive validation procedures.Work with customers to identify challenges, potential workarounds, and identify and document solutions to requests.Establish a method for customers to communicate, vet and document the results of working group decisions into problem reports and or change requests, as necessary.The Intermediate Consultant shall have the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with five (5) years or more of consulting experience. Educational requirement may be waived if the candidate has eight (8) or more years of experience.Five (5) or more years of gathering, scrutinizing, and assessing information.Shall have a minimum of five (5) years working experience in business process reengineering and internal controls.Shall have a minimum of five (5) years of specialized experience in both leading and providing technical direction to complex accounting challenges and providing recommendations and solutions that are legal and auditable.Five (5) or more years of experience managing projects and assignments according to a timeline, skillfully exercising problem solving and judgement to address issues and/or report deviations in a timely manner.Five (5) or more years of experience assessing productivity, effectively addressing complex issues within the team, conducting studies to analyze operations and gather requirements for software development or licensing needs, and a clear understanding of when to escalate matters to executive management.Five (5) or more years of experience running reports, analyzing reports and data, summarizing reports and data, documenting activities, verifying the accuracy of data and conclusions, development of custom tools and reports including Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, communication of data and conclusions in written and/or oral form.Five (5) or more years of experience conducting training, participating in meetings, leading meetings, and developing materials for trainings and meetings.Five (5) or more years of experience demonstrating a high level of interpersonal skills including the reading and perception of nuanced situations and historical background, taking each into account for productive interaction with those both inside and outside the core team as well as demonstrating the ability to work with others with differing opinions and come to equitable solutions to move the assignments forward.Five (5) or more years of experience consistently developing new work products without precedent while assigned to projects involving novel methods, approaches, tools, and concepts in a strong team environment; and developing custom reports or extracting data in new and novel ways.Prior experience with CGI Momentum software platform, Microsoft Excel, and SharePoint.Prior technical / IT background and/or experience implementing enterprise-level computer systems or large-scale process improvement projects.Knowledge of the Federal Travel Regulation and IRS rules governing employer-directed relocation of individuals within the field to provide support and recommendations to FFD management decision making.Nice to Have Qualifications:Master's degree in Accounting, Financial Management or Taxation or Business Related Study.A current financial certification such as the CMA, CPA, CIA, CGFM, CISA, etc.Experience with Microsoft PowerBI functionality.Prior experience in law enforcement and/or the intelligence community.
