I am the Associate Chief Anesthetist Officer leader for Southwest Medical Center located in Liberal, Kansas. I’ve been working with Sound Anesthesia for three years. I am proud of the anesthesia practice we are building and welcome interest from CRNAs coming out of training or looking to make a career change. We’re a closely-knit, established team of five CRNAs working independently at Southwest Medical Center.
We are a cohesive and empowered team driven by a shared mission to support one another genuinely. Our unwavering commitment to mutual care and collaboration forms the heart of our collective strength.
Liberal, Kansas is known for its spirit of hospitality and generosity. Home to 19,000 people, Liberal is a lovely place to raise a family in a safe community.
Practice
Community hospital setting with no trauma, no heads, no peds, and no hearts.
Scope of practice is general, ortho, endo, minimum plastics, and healthy OB/GYN.
Regional block skills are preferred; base knowledge of regional anesthesia is necessary.
Four points of service run per day with home calls split evenly with the team.
Fair and equitable scheduling amongst the team, with calls split evenly and no scheduled cases on the weekends.
Our daily work culture mirrors the camaraderie of collaborating with friends within a professional and collegiate environment.
1099 Compensation guaranteed at $365,100 annual base salary.
Annual Chief Stipend of $20,000 for administrative duties.
We offer ten weeks of scheduled time off.
A $40,000 commencement bonus is offered with a two-year commitment.
Our retention rate is high, and we work collaboratively within our team to ensure coverage for time off.
