A successful Director of Operations will have a winning attitude, with a vision for success and will have at least two years’ experience of similar management experience, knowledge of Party Tenting Installations a plus.

Party Plus Tents + Events has been operating since 1986 and is celebrating its 30th Anniversary under current ownership.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to oversee our company's daily operations and drive strategic initiatives for growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies, policies, and procedures

Manage and optimize operational processes to enhance productivity and efficiency

Drive business development initiatives to expand market presence and revenue streams

Oversee project management activities to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes

Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure favorable terms

Spearhead process improvement efforts to streamline operations and reduce costs

Provide senior leadership guidance to department heads and operational teams

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance

Experience

Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a senior leadership role

Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills

Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives

Excellent project management capabilities

Outstanding negotiation skills

Ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving operational excellence

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA is a plus
