Director, Marketing and Public Relations

Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000 annually
The Director of Marketing and PR will serve as the direct report for marketing, public relations, and community relations staff. This position will facilitate the day-to-day management of the team and will work directly on all creative development and graphic design projects, community engagement strategies, and ensuring that the hospitals' mission, vision, and core values are effectively communicated to and represented within the communities MSLC serves. The Director will be responsible for implementing initiatives, special events, marketing plans, and service line specific marketing needs as identified by the VP. Applicants must be strongly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Adobe Premiere. Additionally, applicants with extensive experience in managing a team are preferred.
Education/Training : Bachelor's degree required in English, humanities, journalism, communications, or equivalent.
Experience : Minimum of five (5) years of experience in copywriting, publication production, marketing, or public relations, with at least two (2) years in a leadership capacity. Thorough knowledge of the English language including grammar, composition, and usage. Proven ability to produce clear and vivid copy; and to write in different tones for various mediums. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task under pressure with acute attention to detail. Adobe Creative Suite, Web, and social media experience required. Community relations/engagement experience preferred.
