Senior Vice President, Hotel Market Partnerships

Travel Partnerships and Media helps partners deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences, driving growth for partners and the Expedia Group marketplace through competitive supply and industry-leading advertising. This team also sources member benefits for One KeyTM, the travel industry's largest and most flexible rewards program.

As the Senior Vice President of Hotel Market Partnerships, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction for Expedia Group’s Marketplace across its Hotel brands to delight travelers and engage quality supply partners, to achieve financial targets, margin and profitable growth.

What you’ll do:

Leads a global distributed and differentiated organization of 1300 FTEs, Vendors and 25 Early in Career Graduates across 50 countries.

Align Business Strategy to Sales Strategy and Execution: Understand market trends and impact on business and influence the investments being made to keep ahead of competition.

Drive Commercial Excellence: Strong commercial mindset to lead the org and deliver healthy growth; coaching focused on negotiations, analytics, problem solving and relationship building.

Influence Enterprise Relationships: Build enterprise relationships with Product & Tech, Marketing, and our Brands to influence the products for customers and partners.

Strong presence and thought leadership in the travel and hospitality industry.

Orchestrate Data-Driven Problem Solving and Decision Making: Understand and analyse financial modelling of commercial deals.

Manage through tensions: Level-headed and able to work in an environment of constant tension from business and partners.

Establish Performance Metrics: Regularly evaluate performance against established financial KPIs.

Ensure Global Alignment: Foster consistency and alignment across diverse markets.

Who you are:

Seasoned commercial leader with proven expertise in travel technology and supply leading large complex and distributed teams.

Ability to shape the strategic direction for Expedia Group’s Marketplace across Hotels.

Business to Consumer and Business to Business experiences required.

Experience managing and negotiating complex partner agreements.

Deep knowledge and experience of the product mechanics, channel/partner marketing, and operations.

Experience doing business in different parts of the world.

Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of flexibility and accountability.

Motivated to achieve big goals and continuously improve.

Keen understanding of business operations and the organizational levers that drive profitable growth.

People Leadership:

Leader who has built and managed large, complex, global teams.

Supporting the adoption of machine learning/AI solutions in sales workflows.

Creating an environment where people can learn and grow.

Normalize feedback and ensure accountability.

Simplify and succinctly convey complex information.

A track record of building alignment amongst cross-functional partners.
