Quality Assurance Lead

The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality products by developing and maintaining quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze data to identify areas of improvement and provide training as needed.
Conduct audits or inspections to identify nonconformance and implement corrective measures.
Collaborate with peers on new policy, procedure, and work instruction recommendations since they may affect others.
Identify root cause defects and implement changes to correct and eliminate errors.
Provide recommendations to the Quality Director for Quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and forms.
Address issues to ensure quality standards are upheld.
Assist with training of team members on quality processes.
Build a positive rapport with employees at all levels of the organization; communicate with team members to solve problems.
Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its core values, and other associates while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in related field; equivalent experience may be acceptable in lieu of degree.
Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
Proven work experience in quality assurance or similar field.
Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance.
Lead by example to include strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, can do attitude, great attendance, and excellent quality & safety awareness.
Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and time management skills.
Commitment to the concept of continual improvement, effective quality management systems and safe work practices.
Understanding the production and work order process.
Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Physical fitness and strength to regularly lift 30-50 lbs.
Regularly required to stand, bend, crouch and reach.
Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed.
May require travel up to 20%.
This is a full-time position with hours dictated by business needs. This position will report to the Quality Director.
