This position will be the Accounting lead supporting business transformation processes focusing on various modules of Oracle Fusion ERP including interfaces with other Oracle applications and legacy SAP ERP systems.This position will interact primarily with cross-functional teams such as IT, FP&A, reporting, treasury, tax, and operational finance teams and external consultants to quickly and accurately review exceptions, troubleshoot and resolve issues including data reconciliation between various financial systems during close. This person must be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop policy and procedures around master data management of general ledger accounts and account chart string. Lead the global chart of account management and update across multiple legacy ERP systems.Assist the consolidation and accounting operations team in reviewing, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data reconciliation between various financial systems during monthly close.Lead various ERP system enhancement initiatives to further streamline the financial statement close process.Initiate and take the lead in reviewing and assessing existing accounting operational processes and provide recommendations to improve existing processes.Execute, implement and orchestrate defined proposals and monitor the new process from end-to-end.Coordinate with various finance and business teams in multiple regions and engage in process harmonization projects to align operational accounting processes.Preparation of ad-hoc analysis and special projects as requested.Strong communication and critical-thinking skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally and interact with various levels of personnel across the organization is a must.Qualifications and Skills:A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience including experience working in the industry.A bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related degree.Public accounting/audit experience with a CPA certificate is preferred.Prior experience in managing the end-to-end business process and workflow related to various aspects of the financial statement close process, which includes procure to pay, order to cash, fixed assets, and consolidation functions, with experience in end-to-end process improvements.Strong listening, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to bridge functional and technical resources by communicating effectively with individuals of varying systems expertise and business needs.Strong financial systems expertise.
