Job DescriptionSummary:

The Trade Operations Manager leads rebate strategy initiatives and provides operational oversight to optimize the quality, timeliness, and performance of rebate management and performance for MedImpact PBM. The position will be responsible for establishing performance metrics and ensuring capabilities and resources are in place for all services and operations impacting Trade Relations. This is a cross-functional role responsible for working across business units to continuously improve services related to Trade Relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Responsible for leading and directing all operational activities for rebate management.

Manages continuous quality improvement initiatives for operational processes to ensure high performance, high quality, efficient and consistent methods are in place, understood, and adhered to by Trade Relations staff.

Manages the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of metrics/KPIs associated with rebate vendor quality, timeliness, and performance related to strategic services and financial accuracy.

Maintains databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing and optimizing rebate performance.

Analyzes very large data sets to proactively identify areas of opportunity including identifying clients that are not optimizing their rebate performance. Manages strategic initiatives to address these opportunities and tracks results.

Manages all project management initiatives across Trade Relations that focus on continuous improvement, SOC/SOX controls, and value realization initiatives.

Identifies rebate-related new product development opportunities and manages the development process.

Conducts and analyzes competitive and market information to identify opportunities in MedImpact’s rebate offering and the marketing of the rebate program.

Ensures department metrics are tracked and monitored including employee level performance metrics.

Represents the Trade Relations group to senior management and cross-functional departments demonstrating logical rationale for business decisions.

Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) and 10+ years related experience in the duties listed. Master’s degree preferred. Experience required in PBM, healthcare, and/or finance related industry. Project Management certification preferred.

Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, and Access. SQL experience preferred.

Other Skills and AbilitiesPossess proven leadership skills, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), analytical and financial reasoning skills. Requires experience in operational application of database applications, accounting, finance, or data analysis. Demonstrated attention to detail and experience in project management and leading quality improvement initiatives. Requires the ability to represent MedImpact at the enterprise level with proper business decisions.
