When you join Cubby, you’re joining a team of entrepreneurs and creators who are on a mission to change the lives of thousands of special needs families. We are growing at lightning speed and are seeking a marketing leader to help innovate and support our growth.

You will be a key member of our leadership team where you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive growth, enhance brand awareness, and remove barriers in the customer journey.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of performance marketing, consumer data management, and lifecycle marketing best practices. The Marketing Director will oversee a team of marketing professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement campaigns and initiatives that deliver measurable results. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Growth, who will serve as a critical thought partner on all fronts as you work with a broad swath of the leadership team to shape the future of a mission-driven category.

You will work alongside cross-functional leaders in product, sales, support, finance, and operations teams to turn groundbreaking ideas into measurable marketing initiatives.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

Developing Integrated Marketing Strategies:

Creating and refining marketing strategies based on the needs and objectives of the Growth team.

Leading and Developing the Marketing Team:

Building, motivating, and managing a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability.

Managing a Team of Marketing Experts:

Overseeing a diverse team of marketing specialists, ensuring effective collaboration and execution of prioritized initiatives.

Overseeing Multi-Channel Campaigns:

Driving lead generation and conversion through integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (SEO/SEM, social media, programmatic display & video, email, SMS, etc.).

Analyzing Marketing Data:

Enhancing and interpreting marketing data to gain real-time insights into performance and demand, and adjusting strategies accordingly.

Maintaining Brand Consistency:

Ensuring that all marketing materials consistently reflect the brand’s voice and values, and refining the company’s brand identity to resonate with target audiences.

Collaborating with Sales Teams:

Partnering with sales teams to strategically position offerings and simplify value propositions for stakeholders.

Creating and Managing Content:

Developing engaging content such as white papers, case studies, and product descriptions, and overseeing the creation of assets for sales and conferences.

Managing & Optimizing Complex Customer Journeys:

Mapping out and optimizing the customer journey, leveraging marketing automation tools to advance consumers through key stages.

Managing Customer Data and CRM Tools:

Using analytics tools like Google Analytics and CRM platforms (Salesforce) to track performance, manage customer data, and drive targeted marketing campaigns.

Leveraging Social Media and Influencers:

Guiding the management of social media accounts, leveraging influencers and ambassadors to build community.

Here’s what we’re looking for

You will have at least

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred).

5-10 years experience in performance marketing roles, with a track record of successful campaign management and team leadership.

Experience managing a complex sales journey (ex. SaaS, B2B, B2B2C) and leveraging customer data, segmentation, and targeted marketing campaigns to improve conversion rates.

Strong background in performance marketing with a deep understanding of digital advertising, social media, content marketing, and lifecycle marketing.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.

Creative thinking with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

We hope you also have

Healthcare marketing experience and an understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as FDA guidelines, GDPR, and HIPAA, to ensure marketing practices meet legal standards.

Hands on experience with the following technology:

Emerging technologies: AI, Chatbots, Machine Learning

CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot,

CDP platforms like Segment, Hightouch, mParticle or ActionIQ

Startup or high growth organization experience

Hands on experience managing advertising campaigns across paid search, social media and programmatic placements

Proficiency in advanced data analysis techniques and tools, such as data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or statistical analysis.

Familiarity with design thinking methodologies to drive creative problem-solving and innovation in marketing strategies.

Compensation: $155k-180k hiring range - Cubby offers an exciting OTE (On-Target Earnings) program to motivate and celebrate collective success in achieving company goals. The total compensation package is inclusive of 85% base compensation + 15% variable pay with 2X accelerators when targets are exceeded.
