Department of Counseling & Psychological Services Part-Time Counselor Pool POSITION The Department of Counseling & Psychological Services at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its part-time Counselor pool. We welcome applications from individuals who are experienced and student centered in the following subject areas: Clinical supervision Multicultural/Diversity College population Crisis intervention Individual/group therapy This is a general recruitment for a pool of part-time counselors for the department to draw from as needed. APPOINTMENTS FROM THE PART-TIME POOL ARE TEMPORARY. APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS PhD, PsyD. degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field or equivalent experience CA License as a Psychologist Candidates should have prior supervision experience at the doctoral level Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preference will be given to those with significant experience in working with diverse college populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment. Please direct all questions about the position to: Cari Morelli, at cmorelli@fullerton.edu PERFORMANCE EVALUATION Regular performance evaluations of part-time counselors are made by the department in accord with the faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement and University Policy Statement 210.070. These performance evaluations determine which counselors will be retained for future and continued counseling assignments. COMPENSATION The temporary Counselor classification salary range is $7,830 to $14,109 per month Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $8,104 per month

The full-time monthly base salaries indicated above are prorated to the time base assigned. Salary offered is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
