Department of Counseling & Psychological ServicesPart-Time Counselor PoolPOSITIONThe Department of Counseling & Psychological Services at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its part-time Counselor pool.We welcome applications from individuals who are experienced and student centered in the following subject areas:Clinical supervisionMulticultural/DiversityCollege populationCrisis interventionIndividual/group therapyThis is a general recruitment for a pool of part-time counselors for the department to draw from as needed. APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSPhD, PsyD. degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field or equivalent experienceCA License as a PsychologistCandidates should have prior supervision experience at the doctoral levelCandidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college studentsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreference will be given to those with significant experience in working with diverse college populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment.Preference will also be given to those with relevant performance and professional experience.HOW TO APPLYA complete online application must be submitted in order to receive consideration. These performance evaluations determine which counselors will be retained for future and continued counseling assignments.COMPENSATIONThe temporary Counselor classification salary range is $7,830 to $14,109 per monthAnticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $8,104 per month
