Production Sanitation Technician

JOB SUMMARYCumberland Dairy has an immediate job opening for a Sanitation Technician team member who ensures the plant meets mandatory sanitation requirements for machinery, equipment, and facilities. This will also include safely operating power equipment, handling inventory and transfers of bulk chemical, as well as following GMP's.Cumberland Dairy is a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), a dairy marketing cooperative owned by more than 12,500 family farmers. REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or GED preferredExperience in high speed, high volume automated manufacturing environment is preferredMust be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checksMust be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalMust be able to read, speak, and write in EnglishMust be able to legibly write entries for record keepingMust be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shiftMust be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, with capabilities to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to work near moving mechanical parts with risk of electrical shockMust be able to work in a wet environment with toxic or caustic chemicalsMust be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
