Responsibilities: • Install and assemble piping systems, fixtures, and appliances (e.g., sinks, toilets, water heaters). • Set up and test plumbing systems and fixtures for proper operation and compliance with building codes and safety regulations. • Install and connect water supply lines, waste systems, and other plumbing components. • Inspect plumbing systems for issues such as leaks, blockages, or damaged components. • Perform routine maintenance to prevent future problems and ensure the longevity of plumbing systems. • Repair or replace faulty pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing parts. • Address and resolve issues related to water pressure, drainage, and sanitation. • Diagnose plumbing problems using tools and equipment such as pipe cameras, pressure gauges, and augers. • Develop effective solutions and provide recommendations for repairs or replacements. • Communicate with clients to explain problems and solutions in a clear and professional manner. • Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. • Ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner and with proper protective equipment. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent. Qualifications: • Valid journeyman plumber license. • The candidate must be familiar with industry standards and practices. • An advanced degree is not required. The candidate should have advanced experience working as a plumber. • Proficiency in installing and repairing plumbing systems, reading blueprints, and using plumbing tools and equipment. • Strong ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues effectively. • Understanding of local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices. • Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with clients and provide clear explanations of plumbing issues and solutions.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Working Environment

Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise. Compensation: $30 - $40 hourly
