has an immediate need for a
Principal Technical Services Project Manager
to join our
Life Cycle Sustainment Organization (LCSO)
located in
Baltimore, MD .
You should have experience working with teams, effective communication skills, and the ability to schedule work plans to meet commitments. You must also be able to work in a manufacturing environment and adhere to safety practices. You adapt quickly and work independently to meet short-term requests and provide reporting on multiple programs with limited supervision.
This is an individual contributor position, not management.
What You’ll get to Do:
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Duties include setting and meeting sales objectives; monitoring costs, tracking material consumption, and ensuring program performance meets contract terms.
Customer interface extends to external and internal customers: responding to inquiries, providing customized status reports, and acting as liaison between Logistics Programs and Manufacturing Operations.
May facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas, and interact with internal and external customers regarding product planning and problem resolution.
Supporting and generating proposal documentation as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing and/or repair depot environment or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; 9 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Prior experience in project management.
Proficiency with Microsoft system application tools.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical background with experience interpreting engineering drawings.
Experience in proposal roles and responsibilities.
Experience in SAP (MES) and GOLD knowledge.
Experience working with radar-related technologies.
Operational and sustainment repair support experience.
Material management experience.
Vendor and logistics/supply chain experience.
Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership (CAM / EVMS).
BS in Business, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
People leadership and familiarity with DOD Operations.

Salary Range:
$102,400 - $153,600The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers.
