Staff Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist (Denver, CO) [SEEGS-DEN]
Job Description:
Ninyo & Moore has an immediate opening in our Denver, CO office for a Staff or Senior Staff-Level Environmental Professional. The successful candidate should have 3+ years of experience with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, and other hazardous waste site investigations commensurate with years of experience.Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.Certification:
Current OSHA HAZWOPER training. Other certifications and registrations a plus.Required Skills:
Experience in environmental-related areas that may include various field tasks comprised of site reconnaissance, soil and groundwater sampling, borehole logging, well installation, air monitoring, coordination and oversight of subcontractors, and preparation of daily field reports; and various office tasks comprised of data compilation, review and assimilation of historic information and environmental databases, assisting with report preparation and other project documents, phone/email contact/coordination with subcontractors/vendors, phone/email contact related to interviews and discussions with site owner/users, and management of tasks and task budgets. Experience on construction sites is a plus. Candidate must have solid writing skills, effective inter-communication skills, familiarity with ASTM E1527-21 and ASTM E-1903-11, and the ability to work with support teams as well as independently when required. Proficiency with Word and Excel is required. Prior work history with a consulting firm is preferred.Status:
