About the roleWe are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to join us and to play a key role in expanding our hardware engineering team. You will work closely with our leadership team and focus on reducing our time-to-hire and ensuring we attract top talent to support our mission.
This role will be onsite 5 days a week in our Mountain View headquarters.
What you will do
Strategically plan and be responsible for pipeline of candidates and maintain their interest throughout the recruiting process
Source, engage, and evaluate top-tier technical hardware talent
Consistently generate a healthy pipeline of quality candidates by driving innovative initiatives across branding, events, and employee referral channels
Optimize for speed and quality of engineering hires
Build and manage relationships with top talent
Stay current with tech and autonomous vehicle industry news
Collaborate with HR leads to follow new programs and processes
Deliver results in a fast-paced work environment
Contribute to the design of Gatik’s hiring workflows (e.g., hiring plan, job specifications, interviewing panels, etc.) and achieve hiring goals
Act as an ambassador for Gatik’s mission, values and employee value proposition
Scale and improve upon existing recruiting practices and processes; optimizing for candidate experience, efficiency and quality of hire
Utilize creative sourcing techniques to build candidate pipelines
Influence leadership on, and suggest improvements about, the hiring process using insight gleaned from data and experience partnering with hiring teams
Be committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce, including participation in driving equity, inclusion, and diversity initiatives within the recruiting process
Engage and assess passive talent by staying abreast of market trends, promoting Gatik milestones, driving recruiting activities, and conducting in-depth interviews
What we’re looking for
5+ years of technical recruiting experience working with hardware engineering candidates and clients
2+ years of in-house (corporate or start-up) recruiting experience
Experience working closely with engineering leadership
Track record of success in a competitive market and various industries
Proven abilities to attract passive candidates and build a diverse pipeline
A strong network of potential hires
Extensive knowledge of talent and recruiting landscape
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Analytical/data-oriented approach to handling your recruiting funnel and working with your hiring partners
