As one of the tallest buildings in the city, this historic 3-tower hotel has over 1,900 rooms, 160,000 square feet of banquet space, and 6 food and beverage outlets.
The ideal candidate would have previous payroll experience and thrive in a high-volume environment. This individual must be driven and possess excellent multi-tasking and communication skills. Hotel experience is preferred and union experience is a huge plus!
As a Payroll Clerk, you will perform activities to support the Payroll and General Accounting functions in a Union setting.
Main duties include, but are not limited to:
Review accuracy of payroll and deductions and report all discrepancies to supervisor
Prepare payroll reports, conduct annual record retention procedures, and assist in proceeding quarterly, year-end closings (Disability, W-2s)
Process tips and gratuities
Participate in special projects
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with other finance departments
Attend staff meetings pertinent to work assignments
Research and respond to information requests from internal departments and management
Starting Hourly Rate:
$32.06
