Private Equity Real Estate Investment Firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their growing team as the Real Estate Fund Controller.
Responsibilities
Oversee third-party fund administrator for 4 real estate funds and 5 co-investmentsAssist with reviewing quarterly workpaper packages, financial statements and partner capital account statementsAssist with cash management (monitor cashflows, projections, wires, open bank accounts, etc.)Assist with management fee and waterfall calculationsAssist with investor capital calls and distributionsAssist with investor queriesAssist with external audits and tax reporting processes (i.e., K-1)Perform other duties, as neededQualification
8-10 years of experience in Private EquityBachelor's DegreeStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordPublic Accounting experience, preferably from a big-4 accounting firmSelf-starter who takes initiative and is a fast learnerAbility to multitask with good time management skills to meet multiple reporting deadlinesDesired Skills
