This role is responsible for scoping, planning, implementing, and maintaining solutions to support the expansive user base. Additionally, this role has broad exposure to multiple areas as the team leverages Apple's internal software and services and develops custom solutions to address gaps and novel business needs. These tools and processes provide support across the organization and impact all product lines, transforming the way people work at Apple. DescriptionAs a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both frontend and backend applications. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to build scalable, high-performance applications using Django, React, AWS, and Kubernetes. Your role will involve everything from developing new features to optimizing existing systems and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our internal applications.Responsibilities:

Build reliable and scalable cloud-based tools used by many teams.Build reusable frontend components.Design backend APIs with a focus on the user's perspective.Capture and document developer and user experience workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

BS + 3 years of relevant experience.Experience as a Software Engineer, with a portfolio of web applications.Proficiency with Python and React.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of SQL, including designing schemas, writing queries, and optimizing performance.Experience working closely with non-technical partners to directly solve business problems.A computer science degree or equivalent.Experience with Django.Familiarity with cloud deployment (particularly Kubernetes on AWS).Experience with tools like Terraform for managing infrastructure.Experience working on an internal tools team.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
