Under the supervision of the Chief Clinical Officer, the Program Director, Judiciary Services, will ensure that the general behavioral health needs of each detainee in Bibb County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) are addressed. River Edge professionals shall work with detainees who need mental health services, and work with BCSO to refer them to appropriate care. Program Director will supervise Mental Health Clinician, Clerk, and Discharge Planner/Case Managers. Director will partner with DBHDD and court systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:Supervision and oversight of daily operations of behavioral health staff (Clinician, Group Leader, Case Manager, Prescriber, Clerk & Discharge Planner).Ensure the following mental health services are provided: Behavioral health assessments, brief and ongoing mental health counseling, substance abuse assessment, counseling and groups, discharge planning, including family contacts, case management and weekend/holiday/emergency crisis intervention.Demonstrates the ability to problem-solve at designated level of management.Demonstrates effective role modeling, delegation, problem solving and acts as a resource for the entire staff.Coordinates with jail health/behavioral health staff to provide highly coordinated support for individuals in jail, transitioning to the community.Coordinates work, to include court liaison duties with local criminal justice and court systems, to expedite the appropriate release of individuals with behavioral health disorders.Coordinates the monitoring and reporting related to individuals being served in the jail services program.Coordinates the court-related data collection and analysis, outcomes measurement, service evaluation, and improvement for reporting to River Edge Quality Improvement Committee.Coordinates with DBHDD, state and regional hospitals, and mental health courts to develop aftercare plans.Assures update of bio-psychosocial assessments (initially completed by jail staff) with information relevant to treatment.Coordinates teamwork, resource acquisition, and service planning needed to enable expedited release from BCSO and coordinates linkage to initial post-release resources.Provides crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications:Fully Licensed - LPC, LCSW, LMFT (Required)Master's degree in social service field (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy) (Required)Five years of providing behavioral health services. (Preferred)Two years of relevant supervisory experience. (Preferred)Must have ability to design, develop and modify programming.Must have strong clinical skills.Must have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.Must have ability to multi-task and remain organized.Valid Georgia Driver’s license.All applicants must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test.Provide 2 Professional references (Former employers only, no family members).
