As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced

Vice President of Logistics

to lead our Logistics and LTL Sales division. This position will be located in our

El Monte, CA

location.

Job Summary:

The Vice President of Logistics is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's logistics sales operations and supply chain management. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of logistics processes and technologies.

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE INVOLVE?

Essential Job Duties:

Develop new business accounts by understanding customers’ business, identifying growth opportunities, and driving improvement with a focus on big and heavy items final mile delivery and LTL consolidation.

Retain profitable business by managing account base and ensuring quality relationships with customers.

Represent the company in strategic negotiations with customers, while developing and maintaining high-level relationships with key decision makers at shippers.

Cultivate new sales leads to established business.

Take leadership of the sales cycle process including prospect development, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, pricing, contract signing, start-up, and customer service follow-up after business award.

Mentor sales team members to enhance and refine requisite skills and competencies needed to successfully close business.

Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions.

Other duties as assigned by department supervisor, manager, and/or executive management.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?

Experience and Education Requirements:

Generally requires minimum of 10+ years of experience in big and bulky items logistics sales and LTL sales and 3+ years of experience focusing on final mile delivery service.

Extensive track record as a role model and emerging leader of a sales team.

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-lasting and effective business relationships.

Must be able to adapt to changes and mobilize the team to achieve company goals & objectives.

Familiar with high volume operation.

Equipment Knowledge:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); intermediate-level Excel, in particular.

Proficient computer skills.

Occasionally stand, walk, squat, kneel, twist at the waist, use hands for fine manipulation, pushing & pulling, reaching above and below shoulder level.

Occasionally climb stairs to reach second-floor office locations.

Occasionally travel by airplane and/or automobile to U.S. domestic destinations.

Work Environment:

Work performed indoors in an office facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions.

Certain office locations are adjacent to warehouse facility spaces with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions.

Noise level of the office environment is low.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided.

whole compensation package target range

for this full-time position is

up to $500,000 per year

(this includes Base salary + Discretionary bonus + Stock Options).
