Key Responsibilities:

Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Master Data Manager to support the IT team to ensure the company’s goals and initiatives are met.

The Head of Master Data will be responsible for overseeing the management, governance, and quality of master data across the organization globally. This role involves establishing and enforcing data management policies, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity, and driving data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data management, data governance, SAP and a deep understanding of the manufacturing and consumer products industry. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

Master Data Management (MDM):

Develop and implement the organization’s master data management strategy.

Oversee the creation, maintenance, and quality of master data across all business units.

Ensure master data is accurate, complete, and consistent across all systems.

Strategic forward-thinking leader to drive automation.

Data Governance:

Establish and lead data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Define data ownership and stewardship roles and responsibilities.

Monitor compliance with data governance policies and standards.

Data Quality:

Develop and implement data quality metrics and monitoring systems.

Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits.

Identify and resolve data quality issues and inconsistencies.

Collaboration and Leadership:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and marketing, to ensure data needs are met.

Provide leadership and guidance to the master data management team.

Train and mentor staff on data management and governance best practices.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements related to data management.

Lead initiatives to streamline data-related processes and enhance data quality.

Technology and Tools:

Evaluate and implement data management tools and technologies.

Ensure the effective use of MDM software and other data management solutions.

Reporting and Analytics:

Develop and maintain master data reports and dashboards.

Provide insights and analytics to support business decision-making.

Compliance and Security:

Ensure master data management practices comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.

Tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritize business strategies.

Demonstrated ability to implement short and long term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation.

Lead, influence, and collaborate across functions to drive results through formal and informal channels.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in data management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Extensive experience in data governance, data quality, and master data management.

Experience in the consumer products and manufacturing industry is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MDM tools and technologies.

SAP experience mandatory (S/4HANA plus).

Strong understanding of data modeling, bulk data transfers, data architecture, and data integration.

Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Soft Skills:

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior leadership.
