The Senior Validation Engineer will be responsible for Hayden’s overall release development strategy. This role is a combination of hands-on and strategic vision around build, test and deployment working closely with key stakeholders across the company. A successful candidate will understand the complete software/dev life cycle and have a proven track record on developing complete release engineering solutions that will have a high impact and reach across the entire organization.Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and optimize images for various applications and servicesTest and ensure quality of releasesWork with CI/CD pipelines for automation testing and deployment of releasesCollaborate with development teams to ensure efficient image creation and updatesDeployment and maintenance of software releases in fleets around the globeQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of containerization technologiesExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, InfluxDB, GrafanaExperience with large-scale software development projects and complex build configurationsUnderstanding of software testing frameworks and practicesProficiency in CI/CD tools and practices, in particular with github actionsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and documentation skillsBenefits and Perks
