Located in our Denver, CO headquarters, the Director of Product Line Management, Americas, Power Transmission will be part of the Americas Power Transmission Product Line Management team and work in partnership with our regional Commercial, Marketing, and Operations teams. Reporting to the Vice President, General Manager, Power Transmission, Americas, with a functional reporting line to the Vice President, Global PLM, this role is accountable for the development and implementation of organic and inorganic growth for their product line strategic plan, including market and competitive analysis and identifying strategic initiatives that drive profitable growth.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Americas region Power Transmission markets (automotive replacement and industrial OEM & replacement markets) and product offerings for 10 major product lines including V-Belts, Synchronous Belts, Gates TPU Belting, Industrial Metals, Water Pumps, Engine Metals, and Micro V-Belts.
Partner with the Global PLM Organization to create your Americas Region product line strategy - including the supporting market data and trends, competitive analysis, strategic initiative development, and capacity planning. Define, plan, and own strategy execution.
Plan, manage, and oversee the formulation of all short-term and long-term objectives and business plans for the Americas Region Power Transmission business, including meeting revenue, market share, price realization, profitability, quality, delivery, and new product vitality metrics. Collaborate with the GPLM Organization to ensure global alignment.
Responsible for defining and aligning product roadmaps with market needs and opportunities to support the overall portfolio vision and needs for the Americas.
Drive demand planning accuracy through coordination with Americas S&OP team and N. America Commercial organization with ownership of the ultimate signoff of demand plan.
Identify, justify, and initiate new product development projects within the Americas Region using voice-of-customer and market insights to obtain desired growth in targeted market segments and achieve profitability targets. Ensure successful commercialization of any New Product Introductions (NPI) for your product line by owning local planning and execution, in partnership with the GPLM Organization.
Demonstrate expertise in the various manufacturing processes used to create Power Transmission products and be responsible for capacity planning and creating justification for CapEx needs to meet long-term demand, technology, and profitability expectations.
Measure the overall effectiveness of your strategies and tactics via data-driven KPIs - both in terms of leading indicators and final results.
Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team, setting clear goals and expectations while promoting a culture of teamwork, ownership and accountability.
This position will work within a highly matrixed organization but be the owner of the Americas Region Power Transmission product line.
ABOUT YOU
Minimum 12 years of relevant organizational and/or commercial experience.
High Level interpersonal and leadership skills; must be able to influence across multiple levels within the company and locations, including establishing global partnerships. Leads through influence, with and without authority.
Bachelors degree in an applicable discipline is required.
High degree of managerial, leadership, and communication skills.
Demonstration of a strategic mindset - including roadmap development. New product commercialization experience a plus.
Strong business acumen with knowledge of go-to-market strategies.
Global work experience and perspective, preferred in Industrial environments.
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
Travels moderately (15%) to Gates and customer sites, both domestic and international.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Full-Time
Salary: $185,000 - $210,000
