Overview:We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Safety and Industrial Hygiene Practice. TRC has multiple office locations throughout the Bay Area including
San Francisco, Oakland, Concord, Rancho Cordova and San Ramon , and this position offers flexibility with regards to selection of a base office.
TRC is fully committed to employing State-of-the-Art solutions to environmental consulting and as such, the successful candidate should have confidence in adapting to various digital applications used to enhance data collection and improve our Client's experience.
The position requires 8+ years of prior building sciences and industrial hygiene experience, with a strong emphasis on the commercial and industrial sectors preferred. Responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
Pursuit of new clientele and projects in-order-to gain company presence in the local market.
Responsible for managing industrial hygiene national programs for our clients.
Develop proposals for and implement, manage and direct Industrial Hygiene, Indoor Environmental Air Quality, Moisture/Mold, Asbestos and Lead inspection and abatement projects.
Coordination and execution of regulated materials surveys for asbestos-containing materials, lead-containing materials, PCB's, universal wastes etc.
Preparation of regulated materials survey reports.
Provide regulated materials abatement oversight and air monitoring.
Conduct indoor air quality, mechanical hygiene and ventilation assessments.
Perform moisture and microbial assessments.
Provide field and office support for local BSI Project Managers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, science or engineering related field.
8+ years of experience in the hazardous building materials, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene industry.
Have strong communications and technical health & safety skills both written and oral.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical and motor vehicle records check.
Valid Driver’s License is required.
Must be able to commute to project sites as-needed.
Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and/or Certified Microbial Consultant (CMS) licenses are preferred.
The successful candidate should have one or more of the following certifications:
DOSH Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) or Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC);
CDPH Lead-Related Construction Sampling Technician, Inspector/Assessor and/or Project Monitor;
ACAC Certified Microbial Consultant, Certified Microbial Investigator, and/or Certified Indoor Environmentalist.

Compensation:In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation:Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
