We are committed to practicing work/life balance and offer extremely competitive salary and benefit packages.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review federal and state individual, trust and partnership returns, including exercising professional judgement with respect to issue identification to develop solutions.Being part of the team to help drive the success of multiple engagements in trust, partnership and individual taxation.Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing and meeting deadlines, and proactively sharing tax saving strategies.Assist in performing bookkeeping services for, preparing work papers, trial balances, entering data for compliance reporting, and preparing engagement correspondence.Assist with federal and state agency notice responses.Work closely with Partners & Directors, on client management activities.Attend professional development and continuing education sessions on a regular basis.Other related duties as assigned.Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.QualificationsCandidates should have 3+ years in public accounting and experience specifically handling federal, state trust, individual and partnership tax returns.Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university (minimum of 150 college credits required). Masters in Taxation is a plus.CPA certification or actively working towards certification required.Ability to problem solve and think creatively and logically.Demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize, priority, and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines.Good judgement and the ability to work independently.Excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills.This is not a remote position.
