About The RoleHumane’s AI Platform team connects information about the world around you to the cloud’s power of inference and computing. You will build modular distributed systems that enable us to delight our customers. In this role you will leverage existing technologies, experiment and explore to create new ones, and creatively tackle ambiguous problems.What You Might DoIntegrate with third party machine learning APIs and train your own modelsBuild systems that accumulate understanding to allow us to better understand user behaviors and contextsEvaluate third party services to find the best offeringsDrive new features from prototype to completion by collaborating closely with designers and infrastructure engineersOwn projects from inception through customer shipEssential Qualifications10+ years of hands-on professional software development experienceExperience integrating LLMs or ML models in devices or productionAbility to quickly pick up developments in AI and apply them in productsFast paced iterative approach to developmentPreferred SkillsEvaluate, validate and test products based on non-deterministic technologies, e.g. LLMSComfortable choosing best fit technologies for the problem at handExperience building networked devices or distributed systemsExperience developing or working with open source MLPrompt engineering or experimentation with hardware5+ years of experience with Java, C#, or C++3+ years as a technical leadSalary range: $200,000 - $250,000Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)The salary range for this role is listed above.
