Position Overview:

As the General Manager / Director of the Farmington Polo Club, your responsibilities encompass a wide range of strategic and tactical duties to ensure the smooth operation for the overall success of the club.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the club's short-term and long-term goals.

In partnership with the financial controller and CFO, oversee the club's financial activities, including budgeting, financial reporting, revenue generation, expense management, and ensuring financial stability.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and maximize profitability.

Represent the club in the local community, fostering positive relationships with residents, businesses, and organizations. Participate in community events and initiatives to enhance the club's reputation and visibility.

Establish go-to-market strategies that deliver club objectives. Utilize various marketing channels, including digital marketing, social media, and community outreach.

Lead talent initiatives including selection, development, and overall performance management process.

Establish and maintain exceptional quality standards while maintaining integrity and ambitious standards from all perspectives.

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Implement risk management practices to mitigate potential liabilities and ensure the safety of all members and staff.

Build, maintain, and expand client relationships by providing excellent customer service and personalized attention.

Lead the team in identifying and negotiating contracts with vendors, including but not limited to caterers, florists, entertainers, audiovisual suppliers, etc.

Evaluate vendor performance and provide feedback for future engagements.

Coordinate with groundskeeping staff and maintenance crews to ensure the venue is safe and well-maintained.

Desired Experience:

Three (3) years of experience leading high-volume food & beverage, event planning, or relevant experience.

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related experience.

ServeSafe & TIPS certification.

Pay:

$100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
