Saxon Aerospace is currently hiring a Senior Project Engineer for a growing manufacturing company in Marysville, WA. This direct-hire role offers long-term career growth.As a Senior Project Engineer, you will plan and design products, design tooling, develop prototypes, and develop & improve manufacturing processes..A successful Senior Project Engineer will have knowledge of tool design and product fabrication methods. You will also have project management ability, commitment to quality, and familiarity with safety and environmental standards.The Senior Project Engineer will:Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, such as efficiency and speedStudy production and machine requirementsOrganize and manage manufacturing workflows and resourcesOptimize production lines, machine operations and network performancePlan and execute mechanical designs using CAD and 3D CAD programs.Manage project timelines, resources, and budgetsPrepare technical reports, design specification documents, and operational manuals.Ensure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulationsUpgrade systems and processes with new technologyPreferred education and experience:Technical Degree such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar5+ years’ experience implementing and improving manufacturing processes7+ years’ tooling and product design experienceSolidWorks, CATIA, or similarSalary:
$120,000 - $140,000Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, Paid HolidaysThis position must meet (ITAR) export control compliance requirements.
