The Senior Manager, IT Audit will work under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President, Deputy Chief Auditor and will either work in our home office in Topeka, Kansas or a satellite office in Overland Park, Kansas or Des Moines, Iowa. What Does the Job Look Like?The Senior Manager, IT Audit will oversee a team of IT auditors who assess technology risk and controls throughout the Company through diverse financial, operational, and technology-related internal audit projects and the IT general control program supporting the Company's financial statement audits. Additionally, this role will assist in planning and execution of various risk-focused internal audit projects to assess on-premise and cloud-based IT systems and processes, including impact to business processes, by interviewing management and reviewing process documentation to identify IT system and process gaps and mitigating controls in compliance with the International Professional Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and other standards of internal control. This position works with all areas of the organization and all levels of management. The Senior Manager, IT Audit will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and supervising IT general control and audit projects / special projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:As assigned, assess technology risk and determine audit scoping, objectives, and procedures to be performed over various technologies utilized by the Company and various IT functions.Assess the design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls and application controls.Work collaboratively with other audit groups to effectively plan and assess technology impacts to business processes.Perform and supervise various audit tests and analyses and conclusions in accordance with audit programs and audit standards.Review work papers and other documentation to ensure they are complete, appropriate, and in support of audit procedures conducted and planned.Coordinate audit efforts with the external auditors to ensure adequate and aligned audit coverage.Develop and maintain viable working relationships with Technology management and the external IT audit team.Provide consultation to management regarding risk and the improvement of processes and controls.Generate ideas, research, and evaluate risks related to processes and technology and recommend improvements.
