Survey Party Chief
FULL TIME
Performs advance professional work required in land surveying. Supervises and directs field surveys to include locating land boundaries, layout facilities for construction projects, easement staking, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and other related HAWAII ENGINEERING GROUP surveying services.
FUNDAMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to operate all the instrumentation required for the collection and distribution of survey data (Total Station/Scanner, Data Collector, Level, GPS units, or current technology).
Keeps field notes and plots them.
Plots cross section and profiles.
Performs all work required of a Survey Technician.
Manages and supervises lower level Survey Technicians.
Does topographic mapping with current CAD and Survey software.
Makes worksheets and other maps for various projects with current CAD and Survey software.
Makes searches of title in connection with projects assigned.
Calculate closures, area, elevations, computations, etc.
Operates Company vehicle as required.
Effectively communicate with Project Land Surveyor to ensure job requirements are meeting expectations.
