Senior Vice President of Food & Beverage

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide strategic direction, development and execution of food and beverage operations that align with Schulte Companies vision and objectives

Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and implement business operations to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability of the food and beverage operation at Schulte Companies.

Direct and oversee the financial success across all food & beverage operations by developing and executing revenue-driving marketing campaigns, setting and achieving food & beverage revenue goals, and implementing cost-effective strategies

Foster and nurture strong relationships with food & beverage vendors, overseeing procurement and integrating marketing collaborations to maximize visibility and negotiated pricing agreements

Exercise direct oversight of menu development, integrating market research and trend analysis to focus on innovation, meeting guest preferences, and driving revenue

Lead the development and execution of strategic food & beverage-related components within the annual business plan and budget, incorporating market analysis, competitor benchmarking, concept development, repositioning, and branding initiatives

Oversee transitions of new properties and any re-concepting/renovations/new opens within Schulte Companies

Works strategically with cross functional departments to ensure a solid partnership exists with all leaders and service and training are aligned across Schulte Companies.

Build strong teams including selection and development of on-property F&B Leaders

Use Medallia surveys to drive guest experience and topline revenue building

Establishes conceptual beverage offering based on thorough understanding of brand and market.

KPIs will include, but not be limited to cost management, staffing models, revenue strategy

Provide on-site analysis and oversight as required

Ensures operational standards are met regarding sanitation codes and laws, food storage, and loss prevention.

Develop and support safety and environmental standards to protect associates and guest and maintain compliance with local, state, and national guidelines

Stay up to date on industry trends, ensuring Schulte Companies stays relevant and ahead of industry direction

Take on special projects as assigned by senior leadership, leveraging expertise in Food & Beverage to drive innovation, operational excellence, market penetration, and strategic initiatives across the organization

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

10+ years of experience leading multi-unit F&B operations, with a proven track record in strategic planning, performance optimization, and financial management

Proven leadership in developing and launching new food & beverage concepts, resulting in revenue growth and enhanced guest satisfaction

Advanced degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related fields is preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Extensive experience in full-service hotel operations required

Strong background in restaurant management & banquets required

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and influence at the executive level

Proficiency in leveraging technology, data analytics, and consumer insights to make informed decisions and drive innovation in F&B offerings

Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance

Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Must have flexible work hours that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
