GENERAL MANAGER
– Villas at Seven Canyons (Sedona, AZ)
HOAMCO is seeking a full-time General Manager for our beautiful property at Villas at Seven Canyons located in Sedona, AZ.
Located within the Coconino National Forest, Seven Canyons is bordered on three sides by awe-inspiring vermillion cliffs. Described as “strategic in nature,” the golf course’s finest hallmarks are its extraordinary beauty, precision shot requirements and overall personality.
FUNCTION AND ROLE: The primary job responsibility of the General Manager (GM) is to execute the Business Plan/Budget approved by the Board, assist the Board and the overall Association to protect and enhance the value of the collective assets, the perception of community and the quality of life in the community. The GM will represent HOAMCO with the Association Board of Directors as the overall on-site manager. The GM will fulfill the obligations of the management contract in conjunction with the goals and objectives of the Board of Directors. The GM works under the direct supervision of the Chief Operating Officer and has significant contact with the Board of Directors, VOA committees, residents, guests, outside contractors and vendors, outside groups and association employees.
In addition, and as requested by the Board, the GM provides advice and counsel to the Board on a variety of operational, membership and financial matters related to the overall governance of the Association.
Pay Range: $115,000.00/Annually to $130,000.00/Annually (DOE)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises the Operations Manager, Housekeeping Manager, Reservations and Villa Services Team, and Chief Engineer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform the duties and responsibilities generally assigned the position of General Manager for a corporation or business enterprise of similar size governed by a Board of Directors.
Implements Board policy and directives within the scope of the management contract.
Supervises all on-site personnel. Responsible for employee hiring, training, development, and performance management.
Establish world class standards for Villa Services staff.
In conjunction with the Finance team, provide strategic planning and projection for the Annual Budget as well as any additional projects that should arise. Prepare financial analysis to share with the BOD regarding performance against budgeted guidelines and project completion.
Oversees contractors providing service to the community.
Acts as liaison between the Board of Directors and residents in the execution of the established policies and the conveyance of resident grievances.
Prepares annual budget estimates for Board action and approval. Reports the monthly financial obligation of the Association and distributes the financial data to the Board of Directors and the Budget.
In conjunction with the Finance team, provide strategic planning and initiative for special projects and renovations to the Villas. Provide monthly reporting of each project and an analysis of the financial performance.
Demonstrate leadership to the Villas staff and ensure that compliance with all OSHA requirements.
Ensure proper training of Villas staff and the high standard of Customer Service is utilized with all owners, guests and visitors.
Administers the various functions of the community within the projected and approved operating budget, and advises the Board of Directors of significant operational problems or deviations from the management plan.
Analyzes financial reports, coordinates input of professional advisors and implements recommended procedures.
Establishes priorities and provides advice to the Board concerning major expenditures, including Reserve expenditures.
Supervises expenditures to conform to budget guidelines.
Establishes budget controls and prepares budget recommendations.
Ensure the Villas at Seven Canyons Community Standards are met.
