Responsibilities

SummaryThis position manages the daily operations of the facility including supervising and motivating employees and residents. It ensures the quality of programs and compliance with the Company and client contractual requirements. This position is also responsible for managing the facility’s budget and the supervision of all staff.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervises facility staff.Ensures timely delivery and effectiveness of all clinical and assessment services.Ensures effective integration of support services such as medical, food, vocational, facility programs, classification, family services, maintenance, security and education.Inspects facility to ensure compliance with ACA (American Correctional Association), NCCHC (National Commission on Correctional Health Care) and DOH (Department of Health) standards, company policies and procedures and all contracting entities.Prepares facility budgets and monitors income and expenditures.Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all facility-related reports.Oversees the hiring, training and supervision of all facility employees and performs staff evaluations.Acts as liaison with contracting agencies/funding sources and other entities such as local Community Corrections agencies.Responds to non-routine resident request slips and official inquiries.Seeks opportunities to enhance facility revenues.Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Human Services or Criminal Justice plus five (5) years of experience in management.Ability to use personal computers and associated software applications.Valid driver’s license from the state in which the duties are performed.GEO Reentry Services LLC.
