Cornerstone Building Brands is North America's largest manufacturer of exterior building products. Cornerstone is comprised of a family of companies operating manufacturing facilities across the United States and Mexico, with additional sales and distribution offices throughout the United States, Canada, and Costa Rica.The Vice President Sales has the ultimate responsibility for achieving Sales goals and objectives in the Components business. He/she also has the responsibility for designing and implementing a sales strategy while driving the performance of the Sales force. This role will lead a Sales organization of 35+ and drive revenue for 1 key brand across 3 business segments (Pre-engineered Metal Buildings, Storage, Commercial Roof & Wall) in addition to Business Development with oversight for nearly $500MM in annual sales.Opportunity for working remote will be considered.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIESFormulates long range sales strategy and goals, develops and implements tactics and programs for related brands and markets.Integrates and drives sales strategies, goals and programs to support the overall strategic plan for the Business Unit.Develops and maintains long and short-term sales forecasts, demand plans, builder/customer recruitment objectives, market penetration projections.Owns the analysis of sales results and market trends, communicates key insights to appropriate stakeholders.Evaluates, hires, trains and motivates Sales staff to the performance levels required to meet short and long-term strategies and goals.Aligns and deploys appropriate salary and commission plans and budgets within group and Company policy.Supports and drives pricing strategy, reviews, estimates, implements changes and makes pricing decisions within designated authority.Submits annual budget that is adequate for meeting Sales Department and Company objectives, while remaining within guidelines for profitability.Develops and administers customer recruitment programs; identifies and fills open markets to grow Cornerstone’s share and profitability.Insures the effective use of advertising, consistent with Company policies and within budget constraints.Works collaboratively within a matrix structure with functions such as: Manufacturing, Engineering, Estimating, Pricing and Sales Excellence to ensure delivery of speed and ease to our customers.Serves as a strategic thought partner to peers and as a member of the Shelter Leadership Team tasked with advancing Shelter-wide Business Unit objectives.Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLSAbility to analyze market conditions and drive results. Adapting strategy and approaches needed.Understanding of customer segmentation, customer stratification and sales analytics.Proven sales aptitude; able to grow markets, build relationships and drive sales results at scale.Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.Proven ability to inspire, coach, mentor, and motivate the Sales force.Customer-centric with the ability to balance internal objectives with customer desires.Strategic thinking capability – able to see the long-term picture and understand how to position the business for success.Act as a facilitator of change.Digitally savvy, understands technology trends and can recommend ways to leverage adjacent and emerging solutions to solve customer issues and drive internal efficiencies.Expert MS Office applications and CRM tools – Microsoft Dynamics preferred.Must be willing to travel 75% of the time.BEHAVIORSAbility to influence internally and externally.Collaborative – must be able to succeed in a matrix.Naturally curious.Hungry – Wants to and is laser focused on winning both with customers and their team (direct and cross-functional).High energy.Analytical.Growth minded.Agile.EDUCATION/ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONBachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or other related field, plus 10 years of sales experience including at least 3 years of Senior Sales Management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional information

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
