ReUp Education is seeking skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineers to build our next generation of mobile web apps enabling us to support institutions of higher learning and their millions of adult learners. This role will be a key member of the software engineering team creating and delivering new products to market. Responsibilities

As a Lead Full Stack Engineer, you will be working with a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from ideation to production release. This includes working with graphic designers and product managers who will define the specifications and features. You will lead part of a team developing the features from top (frontend) to bottom (backend), ensuring the application is functional and responsive. You should have expert-level experience with both frontend and backend coding languages, frameworks, tools, and third-party libraries. As our Lead Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership to the team and should have experience leading a team of software engineers at all stages of the development life cycle. What you’ll do

As our Lead Full Stack Engineer, you'll spearhead development. Your role involves but is not limited to: Working with architects, developers, designers, and product managers to create software solutions. Leading the team in the technical, data modeling, and architectural decisions for the frontend and backend of a cloud-based web application. Leading the team in development of frontend components from UI design specifications. Leading the team in the development of backend APIs used by the frontend. Leading the team in the development of interfaces for databases and 3rd party services. Testing software for bugs, responsiveness, performance, and security vulnerabilities. Developing clean, reusable, and documented code and troubleshooting, debugging, and updating code to fix issues. Qualifications

ReUp encourages you to break that statistic and to apply. We look forward to your application. We're looking for a seasoned Full Stack, Lead Software Engineer with a proven track record. Ideally, you have: 8+ years full stack development experience, specializing in desktop web applications and with 3+ years of leading teams. Expertise in multiple frontend frameworks (React, Next, Vue, Svelte) and databases (SQL, NoSQL). Expertise in modern development practices, security, CI/CD, API development (RESTful, GraphQL), and cloud platforms, AWS. Proven ability in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform. Nice to Have: Test-driven development (TDD) and automation. Agile (Scrum) experience. What does success look like?

Competitive salary of 126,000-160,000 USD annually (Austin, TX). Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees. We pay 100% of the employee's premium and 50% of any dependents' premiums.
