This position is requesting expertise in generating orthophoto maps from drones and extracting features' coordinates from the generated map. The map generation and feature extraction must be done in real time using a drone from DJI. The drone uses a vision camera and the images will have RTK positions embedded in the images it captures.San Jose, CAKey ResponsibilitiesGenerate real-time orthophoto maps with GPS-RTK position embedded images from real-world data collection.Extract boundary box coordinates of features from the drone-generated map.Support the development of the software framework that will package the extracted feature information in a format to be used by other applications in real time.Minimum QualificationsExpertise in generating 2-D orthophoto maps.Expertise in feature information extraction from 2-D orthophoto maps.Experience with DJI Terra or Open Drone Map.Bonus QualificationsExperience with using AI software for map segmentation.Experience with DJI drones.Part 107 License certified.Desired Start Date:
