Job DescriptionThe IT Marketing Automation and WCM (Web Content Management) Lead is responsible for partnering with Digital Sales & Marketing teams for planning, execution, and optimization of marketing automation and WCM strategies to drive lead generation, customer engagement, and sales growth. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and marketing acumen to implement and manage WCM and marketing automation platforms, integrate various WCM and marketing technologies, and enhance the overall efficiency of marketing campaigns.

You would be expected to:

Develop and implement comprehensive WCM and marketing automation strategies that align with business objectives.

Design and develop web architecture, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security of web platforms.

Monitor and analyze web performance metrics, making recommendations for improvements.

Identify opportunities to enhance lead generation, lead nurturing, and customer retention through automation.

Oversee the implementation, configuration, and management of WCM (AEM) and marketing automation platforms (AEM, Adobe Launch, Audience Manager, CDP, Target, etc.).

Ensure seamless integration of the WCM and marketing automation platform with corporate websites, other marketing technologies, and CRM systems (e.g., SAP Commerce, Service Cloud, etc.).

Ensure content and data accuracy and integrity within the WCM and marketing automation platform and connected systems.

Implement data segmentation and targeting strategies to personalize marketing efforts.

Analyze and report the performance of WCM and marketing automation campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.

Provide data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance and ROI.

Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry best practices in all marketing automation activities.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in marketing automation and related technologies.

Work closely with the marketing, sales, and IT teams to ensure alignment and integration of WCM and marketing automation strategy and efforts.

Provide training and support to team members on best practices and effective use of the WCM and marketing automation platform.

The IT Sales, Marketing team at Western Digital is responsible for enabling our marketing and sales teams with cutting-edge solutions. Passion for User Experience, Innovation, Simplification, and Speed are core to our team.

Qualifications

Overall 10+ years of IT experience and WCM and Web Architecture with at least 5 years focused on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

5+ years of experience in marketing automation, digital marketing, and Web Architecture.

Proven experience with WCM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., AEM, Adobe Experience Platform, Target, Analytics, CDP).

Strong understanding of Web Architecture and marketing automation technologies and best practices.

Proficiency in AEM, including templates, components, workflows, and DAM.

Strong understanding of web architecture principles and best practices.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and containerization (Docker).

Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.

Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing disciplines.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits Details

An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and geographic location.

The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance.
