Position Description:
Director of Quality in the aerospace industry provides guidance and advice on methods, procedures, standardization, and requirements associated with AS9100 across various Enjet locations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop internal measures to ensure compliance with QMS.
Provide support to functional leadership by gathering and analyzing Quality Information.
Work with process experts and production personnel to fully understand and provide guidance on appropriate and complete corrective actions to assure repeat deviations do not occur.
Conduct root cause analyses and ensure root cause, corrective action, preventative action, and product impact are thoroughly addressed in investigations.
Conduct external audits with Third Party Agencies.
Update, maintain, and publish Audit Calendar.
Make recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications.
Oversee the gage and calibration system and third-party calibration services.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership, collaboration and relationship building skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills and interface effectively throughout all levels of the company.
Vast knowledge of AS9100.
Required travel up to 30%.
