We’re a thriving and growing organisation which offers you many possibilities to shape a better world, and your future.The opportunityDesign and implementation of control system applications in coordination with project Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing engineers.Instrument and control device selection.Control system network design, system integration, system communication protocols and standards.Review vendor drawings for specification and drawing compliance.Construction coordination and support.Interface with Operations, Vendors, and Contractors throughout design, construction, and startup.Working with people from other disciplines and/or vendors to gain knowledge on new subjects.Is this role right for you?We’re looking for graduates who are curious and ready to evolve how you think and work. If you can share your knowledge and ideas and encourage others to do the same; whilst having a desire to deliver excellent services for clients – we’d like to hear from you.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Controls, Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering.Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible way.Attitude of taking initiative, enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, teamwork, creativity.Preferred:Master’s Degree in Controls, Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering.Membership in ISA, ASHRAE or ASME.Experience in sustainability, Energy/thermal modeling, CAD drafting with controls/HVAC emphasis and Revit.Pursuing EIT.Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future.What we offer youAt Arup, we care about each member’s success, so we can grow together. - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Boston, MA is $72,500 to $79,500 per year.

This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level.
