BL has 17 offices and is expanding.Our employee owners are capable of being successful working in hybrid environments, and we are now offering opportunities to continue in this setting.Responsibilities Include:Develop 2D and 3D piping designs using computer assisted design/drafting (AutoCad, Cadworx Plant) equipment and software.Create and revise permitting and construction drawings and details (schematics, site layouts, orthographic plan and section views, and bill of materials).Draw finished designs from sketches and concepts under the direction of the Engineer.Update standard details and templates.Maintain an organized file system for production drawings.Required Experience:Strong knowledge of piping design.Familiarity with transmission and distribution systems in the natural gas industry.Associates Degree or Certificate of Completion in Drafting and Design or proof of completion of formal AutoCad training.Excellent written and oral communication skills.1-5 years or more of experience in a professional office environment creating AutoCad production drawings for mechanical disciplines.Preferred Qualifications:Piping Experience.Cadworx Experience.
