Role PurposeThe Director, OD & Culture sits with the Talent Center of Expertise (CoE) in Corning Human Resources. In this role, you will join a highly motivated and integrated team and focus on developing the organization and shaping the culture for the future. With a deep expertise in organizational development and experience in a global CoE, you are well versed in designing impactful solutions that drive high performing organizations and create a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

Frameworks & Partners: In the first year, set the vision for organization development and culture for Corning, including a new enterprise-wide approach for organization design and change management. Establish a network of preferred Corning partners to deliver business value.

Projects: Advise the business on the most strategic and complex organization design and transformation programs as a sparring partner. Enable and guide HR business partners across the organization to execute.

Employee Experience: Drive initiatives that move the needle on improving the employee experience, including integrating the work on culture, Corning values, and employee value proposition.

Skills: Design the Corning journey to becoming a skills-based organization by integrating skills into how we manage talent and talk about the work.

Education and Essential Requirements

Bachelor's degree in human resources management, psychology, business administration, or a related field.

Multiple years of proven work experience in a global organization development role regardless of industry and/or demonstrated measurable results in a management consultancy. Specific experiences include organization design, change management, culture, and employee experience.

Proven track record of enabling business strategy and creating sustainable value through OD and culture work by proactively solving for highly complex and high value organizational areas of strategic opportunity.

Proven ability to navigate in a matrix environment and lead others without formal authority, mobilize collaboration and effective teamwork across the organization.

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with demonstrable ability to simplify solutions and create buy-in and alignment across geographies and units.

Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while continually identifying linkages within the wider HR function.

Strong business acumen and enterprise mindset, interpersonal, organizational and project management skills and resilience to meet multiple priorities and deadlines.

Use of data to analyze business, talent and workforce issues and ability to tell simple, clear compelling stories. Ability to identify the root cause of problems and opportunities.

The range for this position is $172,964.00 - $237,826.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
