Chick-fil-A Lewis Center is opening in November of 2024! Join the Grand Opening Team! We are seeking a Talent Director to oversee the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of 90+ new team members including all human resources responsibilities. The ultimate goal for this position is to work alongside the Owner/Operator and leadership team to play a key role in growing the business, developing the team, and creating a culture that adheres to the Chick-fil-A values. This leader will be responsible for recruiting and selecting top talent for the business to create a remarkable guest experience. Their goal will be to meet the staffing needs of the business and create a proactive recruiting strategy. This role would be responsible for front-line recruiting, policies and procedures updates, HR administration, recruiting, benefits, and on and off-boarding team members. This role will also develop, maintain, and advise leadership on corrective, disciplinary action, and termination processes while maintaining legal compliance. The Talent Director should have a passion for people and creating a great experience for new team members and should be excited about helping a business grow. Long-term growth for this role could include growth on the leadership team or even pursuing the opportunity to own and operate a franchise.

Responsibilities:

Interview, hire, and create systems to on/off-board team members.

Oversee all talent acquisition efforts.

Conduct 30 and 90-day reviews of new hires to ensure we provide a remarkable team member experience.

Own all HR administration functions, including benefits administration and hiring.

Oversee and keep all policies and procedures up-to-date.

Conduct exit interviews as needed.

Create a culture that aligns with Chick-fil-A values.

Develop, maintain, lead, and complete disciplinary action and termination.

Celebrate the team through birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, and other milestone celebrations.

Oversee all aspects of care and benefits for our Team Members including personal development, quarterly team events, etc.

Contribute to the leadership team's vision, strategy, and overall growth of the business.

Take an active daily role in coaching and developing Team Members.

Work in operations during peak hours including 12 - 2 PM and 5 - 7 PM, and as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and some leadership experience or 5+ years relevant leadership experience instead of a degree.

Ability to collaborate and work with a team.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for developing others.

Passion for Chick-fil-A values and mission.

Problem solver and strategic self-solver and starter able to anticipate future business needs

Restaurant experience is preferred, but not required.

Must be willing to work in restaurant operations, as needed.

Must be 21 or older, to apply.
