PKT has an immediate opening for a 4th Community Residential Services Director (CRS Director). The CRS role exists to provide assistance and care to adults diagnosed with Developmental Disabilities and/or Mental Illness who live in a Community Residential Services setting. This position’s responsibilities would be mostly managerial, and as needed working in the homes to directly support our clients. The CRS Director will be trained in over the course of multiple months, in order to manage and oversee the operations of 4-6 group homes in the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area. On average each group home houses 3-4 clients. The CRS Director will be given office space at our corporate office located in Minneapolis. This space would be used for completing any necessary paperwork, holding meetings with staff, attending meetings with the other CRS Directors, etc.

The responsibilities of a CRS Director include but are not limited to:

Managing, scheduling, and training competent Program Managers and Direct Support Professionals to meet the daily needs of the clients

Planning, and monitoring client-centered activities

Writing, and monitoring quarterly and annual paperwork

Developing, implementing, and tracking client goals

Scheduling and attending medical appointments of the clients

Attending team meetings for and with the clients

Rotating on-call responsibilities with the other CRS Directors

Planning and attending parties for both the clients and the company

Managing household finances while following a budget

Necessary training will be provided!

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience working with individuals who have Intellectual Disabilities and/or Mental Illness; and they must meet the MN Department of Human Services statute definition of a Designated Coordinator, as listed below.

A bachelor's degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities; OR…

An associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities; OR…

A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities; OR…

A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in items 1-3 above.
