Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a

National Dealer Development Manager to join our Yamaha Golf Car team

located in

Kennesaw, GA. This position will manage National and Regional new and current dealer activities, and transaction management across the Direct and Distributor Dealer channels working cross functionally across YGC. They will act as a liaison between the field sales teams (new and pre-owned), YMUS legal and other group departments, managing key dealer network strategies and development areas. The candidate will oversee dealer compliance with Yamaha Performance initiatives, and implementation of marketing strategies working with the marketing team executing all dealer initiatives, and communications across Direct and Distributor Dealer territories. The ideal candidate will have a complete understanding of dealer operations and a vision for improving Yamaha's retail positioning for consumer and business-to-business sales within the personal transportation and low speed vehicle markets.

What you'll be doing:

Develop and implement a national Dealer Network strategy for the Direct and Distributor Dealer channels ensuring targets are achieved. Manage and oversee processes for the establishment of new dealer points, dealer ownership changes (buyouts), dealer relocation requests and dealer terminationsDevelop and implement a dealer performance program that provides the Direct and Distributor Dealer channels with operational guidelines, resources, and support that ensure consistently positive customer experience for our customers.Manage dealer agreements and addendum development, and coordinate with Yamaha Motor Finance (YMFC-US) for retention of all dealer agreements.Work with YMFC-US to develop and implement systems, processes, and resources that support a consistently positive new dealer onboarding experience.Monitor assigned dealer marketing budget working with the marketing department and dealer sales teams for dealer engagement of the cooperative spending program, implementation of dealer marketing initiatives, point of purchase materials, development of marketing assets, event support and communications.Develop and implement a Customer Service Index program and utilize information to ensure dealer engagement of customer satisfaction expectations.Work with the Business Strategy Development Manager to create and implement systems, processes, programs, and resources that support a consistently positive customer experience throughout the product ownership lifecycle.Travel in the market to gain a continued understanding of Market trends and activities in the Direct and Distributor Dealer channels.Business Acumen – Experienced in dealing with budgeting responsibility ranging from $250K to $3M.Must have a clear understanding of retail dealership operations, OEM wholesale processes, and marketing to consumers.Proficiency in SAP, Salesforce, Business Objects and MS Office (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and Outlook). Must have the ability to become proficient in Yamaha proprietary / specialty systems.Strong Organizational and Time Management skillsAbility to work independently and be self-motivated.Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to work across all levels of the organization and management (Internal and External)Strategic Planning - defining the organization’s strategy or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to attain strategic goalsWhat you need to be successful:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing7+ years relevant industry experience in sales and marketing fieldDealership relationship experience strongly preferred.Experience managing dealership initiatives and marketing promotions.Strong Organizational and Time Management skillsMinimum 25% travel required.Don’tmeet every single requirement?
