We believe we have a duty to use our power and privilege to contribute to transformational change to ensure our government is working for everyone and that all families have a fair shot.Position SummaryThe Hub Project is looking for a Digital Partnerships Director to help expand the reach of our campaigns to advocate for a fairer economy, a more inclusive democracy, and ownership over decisions about our reproductive health. The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of how and where people consume news and information online and is interested in exploring and testing new ways to reach target audiences.This work includes managing partnerships with individuals and organizations inside and outside the progressive sphere, including but not limited to developing social media creator programs, forging partnerships with brands and celebrities, engaging storytellers and content creators, and establishing other potential partnerships.The Director of Digital Partnership’s responsibilities include developing strategy and working with campaign teams to build partner relationships, identifying and pursuing creator opportunities on new platforms, and executing programs in service of our campaign goals.This is a job that requires close collaboration across the strategy and special projects team, including with the creative team, paid media team, and development team. You will also work closely with the leadership and digital leads on each campaign team.As Digital Partnerships Director you will:Work collaboratively with the senior leadership and digital leads of each campaign to develop campaign plans that leverage digital partnerships to advance our goals.Oversee the development and management of partnerships and programs with content creators, artists, writers, and other potential external partners.Identify, track, and cultivate collaborations with partners across the progressive movement.Conduct request for proposal (RFP) processes from start to finish, facilitating contracting and ultimately overseeing vendor-managed projects as related to creators and digital partnerships.Lead, coach, and mentor digital campaign leads to familiarize themselves with the process to establish creator partnerships, create content, and drive program impact.Work closely with the creative, digital, and paid teams to ensure that content is tailored to platforms and audiences.Serve as a thought leader within the organization and within the progressive space in thinking about how we expand our reach outside of traditional platforms.Conceive of, plan, and manage in-person and digital convenings and creator activations, including our annual Trending Up conference and regular meetups.Travel to creator activations and engagements within DC and across the country, as needed.About you:You have at least 7 years of professional experience in digital communications, partnership work, social media strategy, and/or content creation.You have demonstrated leadership skills and a high level of competency in a management role.You have experience running social media creator campaigns.You have strong relationships within the progressive movement.You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.You have a passion for and a curiosity about the way people consume news and information online.You have a solid understanding of progressive values and policies and how they intersect with the news.You are detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple projects for different stakeholders, often in rapid-response or high-pressure situations.You’re committed to progressive values and prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout your work.In addition, it would be a bonus if...You have experience working on a political campaign or with an advocacy group.You have relationships with creator marketing vendors and/or brands that offer sponsored content partnerships.BenefitsComprehensive benefits package that includes 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for employees (and their families). Employees are able to enroll in 401k retirement plan and are eligible for a 3% automatic contribution and up to a 3% employer match on 401k contributions. Employees are also eligible for pre-tax transportation benefits. Employees will receive 120 hours of vacation time, 80 hours of health leave, up to 2 days of casual leave, and 20 hours of volunteer leave annually. Employees will also receive 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are eligible for 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave after 90-days of employment.
