Job SummaryThe Data-Centric Solution Specialist will be a senior technical sales executive who is obsessed with being integral to our customers' Digital Transformation journey. Work best in a team selling environment through amazing collaboration and have world-class operational hygiene.Job RequirementsThe successful candidate will have proven experience working in AI/ML development environments and understand what the business and technology challenges are for data scientists. Ideally, they would have occupied a practitioner role prior to applying their skills and experience to that of a Solution Specialist. They will have an appetite to go from a broad understanding of NetApp's offerings to becoming an expert, matching the best NetApp solution to the business problem being presented.The ideal candidate will also have technical selling experience and a proven track record of successful customer selling campaigns.AI/ML Workload opportunity generation will come from a number of primary sources including:•Increasing the velocity of existing pipeline•Sales generated leads•Marketing-generated leads•Propensity data•Working with specialist partners, where that partner has agreed to provide selling muscle•Hunting based on account collaborationAs opportunities are identified this specialist will be responsible for leading and managing the key complex AI/ML opportunities within their Area. To be successful in the role, the candidate will need to deliver total solutions to prospects and customers by teaming with NetApp Partners, sellers, architects, BU, and in some cases exec sponsors.EducationRequires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree and MBA Preferred.CompensationThe base salary range for this position is [Hiring Range Min]-[Hiring Range Max] and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
